A morning exploring the dramatic castle of William The Conqueror, followed by an afternoon of adventure in the heart of ‘Suisse Normande’

William the Conqueror’s Birthplace, and the capital of the Duchy of Normandy, is dominated by the majestic Château Guillaume-le-Conquérant.
The recently completed restauration campaign has incorporated fully immersive technology with ‘augmented-reality’ to engage youth groups with hand-held tablets during the visit. After exploring the castle, your ensemble can perform to the castle’s visitors that day.

After the performance, a short coach journey brings everyone to the Suisse Normande. This is a simply stunning area of Normandy where the rugged and verdant relief resembles the Swiss Alps, with gorges carved by the river Orne and its tributaries.
The activity centre Pont d’Ouilly Loisirs will welcome your group for a range of different fun activities to choose from, either water-based with kayaking and paddleboarding, or land-based with archery, climbing, and ‘geocaching’.
