Aerial trekking in the forest of Saint-Gatien, followed by a cultural afternoon in enchanting Honfleur

The morning can be spent at the Val des Cimes adventure course in the pine forest of Saint-Gatien-des-Bois, near Honfleur.  Specially devised for large groups, there are four different aerial circuits of different heights and difficulty levels, meaning the whole group can participate together.

A short 10min coach journey to the beautiful port of Honfleur brings everyone to the town of Erik Satie and the cradle of Impressionism.  Pack lunch and sound-check rehearsals can take place in the magnificent Greniers à Sel, the ancient salt storage buildings converted into a large concert hall with a stunning vaulted ceiling in the traditional style of an inverted ship’s hull.

Following rehearsals, free time for everyone to enjoy the picturesque town of Honfleur, with its quintessential old port hiding cobbled pedestrian streets full of art galleries, shops, cafes and restaurants.  A visit to the Maisons Satie could take place, or the Eugène Boudin art museum with its range of Impressionist paintings.  The modern converted Médiathèque has a theatre/cinema room which could be used to show the group a documentary on Erik Satie or Impressionism.
